1 billion homeless people's are Dumb

ITS a curse to be a homelessness, we often see people in our daily life who are homeless & here in India as per data we have more than 7Cr 80 lakhs absolute homeless. As eveyone knows this problem but, Its  strange that even though we are  not helping these people. Personally some of us who are able to help them are not helping them while some of us can not afford to help of them. but one think which we all can do & will not cost a panny to anyone is - we can be generous with those people.

we all appreciate the Oscar winning movie "slumdog millionaire"and enjoy it, and then after how can we forget to take its cause further. yes obviously we personally can do a very little to eradicate it, but we should do whatever we can do to this. but as a society, as a nation, as a government we can make a huge difference if we can make policies that can work and deal this problem at grass root level.

the main cause of homelessness is Poverty. poverty is almost a major reason in most of the world problem. and is proved to be the biggest Evil of this century. but we have to fight it in every aspects.

I don't much know about the world but here in India, in past we didn't have this culture of Homelessness in our History. As per our cultural history India was/is always be a home for every homeless in the world. but now what we have ? 7 Cr 80 Lk absolute Homeless.

who is responsible for this, if we now try to find its cause in our medieval and modern history we can come up with a huge list so, its better not think about it and better focus on present condition and its solutions. its solution just comes from only one thing and that is - A will to fight this problem.

As per the modern belief we all are equal and have same rights so, why is there a discrimination in people in such a manner that 1 in every 7 people is homeless in this world. is this is how we talk about equality for all. is this equality ? in spite we all should think a spread a new world order where everybody should get some minimum basic facilities to live their life.  and that is also the Universal Decleration of Human Rights, Article 25,Part 1.

Homelessness is a problem for both developed & developing nations. today  more than 1 billion peoples are homeless all around the globe.
in which around 100 million i.e., 10 Crore are absolute homeless that lives in open on streets, roadsides , park.
& rest 900 million are living in  inhabitable places like tents, sleeping bags , vehicles, cardboard boxes, abandon subways, rail coach, underground tunnels in inhumane condition.

Because of this homelessness,  homeless people  life expectancy also goes down to around 30-40 years approx in every country.
there are a lot of causes of homelessness, among some are lack of affordable housing, poverty, unemployment, disability, problems of population explosion but i don't think this is a problem.
on population increase i just want to say that it is on us how we treat or see this rising population as a problem on limited current known resources or a way of advancement in immense potential of human kind and finding & doing impossible possible.
Most homeless peoples do Begging or Panhandlind ( bheekh mangte hai ). they have nothing else to do, as everybody wants papers of Identification for giving somebody a work, so that he can show to officals or others that whom he given the work or payements. these homeless don't have ID proof, as most of their belongings are missing or steal.
these homeless people faces a lot of problems like:
Health related- diseases
Hygiene- deficiency of essential elements
Sanitation-cleaning themselves
Physical intolerable conditions like cold & hot

We can sort it out :
* By proving them education, so that they can be employable.
* by proving them skill development and work opportunities, so they can earn their living rather than begging.
* In some cities they have street newspapers, to give the jobs for these kind of people, which is a immence and extraordinary steps, we need to start programs like this for their empowerment
* and apart from all Govt. should take responsibility to overcome this problem of homelessness, as they are also public servants of these homeless people too.
*And Govt. can end this by saying we all should have right to housing just Like law of Freedom, the ownership of house (Right to Housing) is also should be one of the required law. as this right to housing is also further extention of law of freedom, equalty& privacy law.

Today for just saying we are freeman, we all are free, we all are equal, but actually not. we are just in a false belief that our condition is better than the time of imperialism or of domain time or of foreign  barbaric rule.
But today the problems are same as it in past, so whats the good for being free & enjoying freedom. if we can not do something to stop such problem like homeless. today the condition is worse than in past. as in past everybody can live where ever they want to live but today this legal essential documentation like local identity proof, visa, passport, permanent resident kind of thing, force us to live or restrict to a particular area.

Today we are prisoners of a system which is also made by us, so its time to change this system-its ethics its values its way of approaching problems and resolving it.
