वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (Sanskrit: वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम. from "vasudha", the earth; "iva" = is as a; and "kutumbakam", family;) is a Sanskrit phrase that means that the whole world is one single family.
Vasudhaiva_Kutumbakam also says animals, birds, plants, trees and other organisms in the ecosystem have atma they are part of our Kutumba

” अयं बन्धुरयं नेति गणना लघुचेतसां | उदारचरितानां तु वसुधैव कुटुम्बकं || ”
Only small men discriminate saying: One is a relative; the other is a stranger. For those who live magnanimously, the entire world constitutes but a family.

The statement is not just about peace and harmony among the societies in the world, but also about a truth that somehow the whole world has to live together like a family. This is the reason why Hindus think that any power in the world, big or small cannot have its own way, disregarding others.

Untold & Unheard story of Indian farmers

Indian farmers have no other option left other than suicide

Their is a time when India is known for agricultural country, but now service industry becomes prominent. Farmers are the real strength of our nation (India) in past, as we have favorable environment for that. No nation in world have the bio-diversity as India have, It should be our leading industry but, unfortunately it’s not.
We have every kind of seasons like summer, winter, rain, spring, and each for significant time, and so we can cultivate almost every kind of vegetation or grains. We have this positive point which no other countries have and it’s an inheritance for us.

Agriculture accounted for 16.6% of India’s GDP and about 50% of the total work force. It gives living to across 60% of Indian population and our agriculture growth rate drops from 4.2% to 2.9% this year. Why this happening? Why we drastically lagging in it time by time.

Its major reason is very simple, it’s just availability of water. The only problem with Indian agriculture is that, its depends on monsoon. And still we not able to develop such equipment’s which can forecast weather correctly. What is mostly happens in India that, when our weather forecast agency say this year will be drought than that year we see floods here and vice versa  until and unless we have an exactly efficient system to forecast weather, I think we can never compete with outside world, which is so advance that. In china when they need rain, they send and fire a rocket in their sky and do artificial rain. Artificial rain means it’s not by natural process.

And second major reason is we don’t able to build a proper irrigation system for our farmers. That’s why drought occurs and due to its consequences, the farmer suffers. His whole field dried and destroyed. And most of the farmers in this country are not financially strong enough to survive this situation.
And sometimes in the “tarai” region of Brahmaputra river, flood destroyed the fields but in different style as drought.

India is a so big bio-diversity that, when there is a flood on Bihar,Bengal,UK and some part of UP at the same time states like Maharashtra, Rajasthan, MP are suffering with drought. If we would able to make a affective system by which we can send this excess water which is causing flood to the states where people facing drought, then it would be like life giving to the both side of peoples.
We can do it by making canals and this planning is already done years ago, but still this whole necessary work is stuck in files. The reason behind this is bloody politics, way back in the govt. of BJP leading by Mr.  Atal bihari vajpayee in 2003 this projects whole planning is done. But after that govt. change and this whole projet (which is for the welfare of million of peoples of india + raising indian GDP ) is stuck somewhere, and I exactly don’t know where.

Due to these problems our farmers are suffering severely and to raise their family they are leaving their farming and start doing labor work. So that at least their family gets something to eat. Their condition is going pathetic day by day, and it’s time that Indian govt. should look upon them and have some mercy on them. Farmers are once a time backbone of our economy as well as they were very strong pillar of our ancient Indian history.

If you know their actual status, that will be shocking for you as well as for me. Indian farmers also now severely suffering the decisions of govt. and that is they can take loan from banks and can repay it, when their crop is cashed, Poor Farmers already taking loans from local moneylenders, jamidars,        or these kinds of people.
Due to worst weather condition or market failure or lack of proper storage facility sometimes farmers loses its crop which he raised by hard work. There is a saying that “ kisaan khoon pasina eek karke jab kisaan khet pe kaam karta hai, tab fasal lahlahati hai”

And then they (farmer) have nothing to repay back, their Lone. So bank/moneylenders took the security whatever these farmers put it, on their contract of lending which is in most case their home, or their land, or their cattle’s, or even their children’s.
This worst scenario is also reality of somewhere of our nation.  Due to these all problems all around here, in India a lot of farmers doing suicide, as they don’t have money to either payback Lone, or feed their their family.

Since 1995 officially nearly 3 lakh India farmers committed suicides.
The latest govt. figures shows 14,000 farmers took their own lives in 2011.
And around 19,000 suicides in 2010.
And at least 17,368 farmers killed themselves in 2009
and at least 16,196 farmers’ suicides in 2008
and the figures are near around 17,000 or more in rest years.
and according to government data over 5,000 farmers committed suicide in 2005-2009 every year in Maharashtra. And that is one in every eight hour.

Now at last I want to say that this condition is pathetic and going worse day by day. Now we need some urgent action from the side of govt. in this area. Otherwise poverty will keep on rising, people are keep dying and we have to face a lot of problems. When a farmer die, then he is not the only one who died with him his whole family die morally and suffer sever crisis. Now there is a definite need of government support here, if now govt. do something here it will be a life giving to those farmers and their families and it’s definitely helps in eradicating poverty in India up to an extent.  And we have less people in below poverty line. And by sorting this problem we can give smile to millions of faces, who are also part of the same India in which we are living.
So let’s go towards a prosperous future.

This is what WHY we praise DR. manmohan singh = "liberalization"
"Liberalization" leads to farm suicides in Indian rural population from 1995 to 20012 totaled close to 300,000, according to official statistics. That number remains disputed; with some saying the true number is much higher.
3 lakh suicides by Indian farmers in just 17 years......this is result of liberalization
That is what our genius pm did.
No media discuss it...
3 lakh dead bodies is nothing in front of 130 crore of Indian population...
At the end of the day...govt. cares just for their votes and their chair.

“Just think”
