For India to be a true Secular country, it needs to get to know about its absolute true history which will guide us in the present and future for the welfare of this country and its people. our history led us to a divided India. and we Indians are disintegrating into Pakistan, Bangladesh, afganistan, Myanmar and India. so now it is very important for us to know our true history to save our country from future or further misshaping.
Herodotus 5th-century BCE Greek historian is "father of history" told us that it is always written through some perspective like religious perspective, kings perspective, by glorifying kings but it should be neutral.
true and real learning comes from when it is written from neutral perspective. so that future generation can understand true nature of every past event, which help them as guide not to do same mistake again. Historians sometimes debate the nature of history and its usefulness by discussing the study of the discipline and as a way of providing "perspective" on the problems of the present.
I didn't understand why our history is not written the way it really was. it is foolish to think that if we read real history it will be a threat to Indian communal harmony. History is the greatest learning tool to understand from our past what right or wrong happen and when and how it was happened. what is the way foreword. only an honest history of a nation can help their peoples to think in a way by which they did not repeat their mistake which our ancestors did. what I think is we should write history exactly the way it was, and not by the way we feel it should be.
NCERT (National Council for Educational Research and Training)’s text books have worthless matter which is secular, anti-Hindu, pro-Muslim, creating western cultural influences, glorifying Congress rulers etc. By imbibing western culture and their habits, studying texts that glorify Mughals, the young generation of India is growing in such manner that they have no feelings towards our culture and country; in fact they become anti-Dharma and anti-nationals. By giving wrong information, the persons appointed by earlier secular Congress Government, had made textbooks to ensure that the young generation starts disrespecting and denouncing Hindu Deities, Dharma, culture and history.
To explain this, some content from the various textbooks published by NCERT are provided below-1. It is stated on pages 40 and 41 of history book for 6th standard that ‘our ancestors used to consume beef’.
